AGATHA JANZEN It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Agatha Janzen. She is survived by her husband of 62 years Jacob, daughter Ann, son Henry (Marion), son Jake (Debbie), daughter Linda (Wendell), son John (Janet), son Walter (Karin), daughter Helen (Brad), son Vic (Karin), 19 grand-children, and 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by Richard Penner (Ann's husband), and sister Maria Block. Born in the USSR in 1925, she immigrated to Canada after the Second World War, married in 1949, and they began raising their family. Mom deeply enjoyed gardening and providing for her family. She was a member of the North Kildonan Mennonite Brethren Church, and her faith was very important to her. Mom passed away, fittingly, on Mother's Day, May 8, 2011. We will miss you Mama. We would like to thank the staff at Donwood Manor for their care and compassion. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, May 12, at 10:30 a.m. at the North Kildonan Mennonite Brethren Church, 1315 Gateway Rd., Winnipeg, with viewing prior to the service. Arrangements entrusted to: KLASSEN FUNERAL HOME 1897 Henderson Hwy. 338-0331 Condolences may be sent to www.klassenfuneralhome.com
