MANUEL INACIO COSTA Peacefully, with his family by his side, Manuel Inaçio passed away on May 9, 2011. He was born on December 12, 1925 in Sao Miguel, Açores, Portugal. He immigrated to Canada in 1957 and his family followed in 1965. He worked for CNR for 30 years. Manuel was predeceased by his wife Maria dos Anjos; his parents Manuel and Irene Costa and granddaughter Kristen Moniz. He leaves to mourn, his six children, Fernando (Adriana) Costa, Margarida (Emanuel) Cabral, Manuela (Joaquim) Clemente, Isabel (Mario) Santos, Helena (Carlos) Moniz, and Natalia (Antonio) Botelho. Besides his dear children, he leaves to mourn his 15 grandchildren, Sandy (Victor), Kevin, Terry, Jeffrey (Jessica), Mark, Jerry, Justin (Bimal), Melissa (Richard), Matthew (Marina), Jason (Tracy), Nicole, Meagan, Samantha, Brittany, Lindsey and his great-grandchildren, Aiden, Caleb, Alena, Alexia, Jersey and Jace. Also leaving behind, his brother Carlos (Maria da Conceiçao) Costa, his two sisters, Maria dos Anjos Botelho and Leonilde (Manuel) Meneses both living in Portugal, his sister Eduarda Raposo living in California and his four sisters-in-law, Isabel (John) Cunha, Conceiçao Duarte, Jardelina Cordeiro, and Teresa Botelho. He also leaves behind his godchildren, Irene, Johnny and Michael Costa and many nieces and nephews. Prayers will be said on Thursday, May 12 at 6:30 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin St. N. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 13 at 9:00 a.m. also at the Church with Rev. Fr. Wladimir Porreca officiating. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kevin Cabral, Terry Costa, Jeffrey Clemente, Mark Cabral, Jerry Clemente, Justin Santos, Matthew Cabral and Jason Clemente. Descanse Em Paz 586-8044
