Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROLAND GUY LEMOINE May 14, 1965 - May 5, 2011 It is with great sadness that the family of Roland Guy Lemoine announces his sudden passing on Thursday, May 5, 2011, at 45 years of age. Developing diabetes when he was 14, Roland never once complained about the cards that were dealt to him. He insisted on focusing on life and not the disease. Roland succumbed to diabetes, a lifelong illness he quietly and courageously battled. Roland is known for being a man of few words with expressive big green eyes. Roland wore his heart on his sleeve and was always there for friends and family. Roland never missed a chance to help his parents whether it was cutting grass, cleaning the yard or lending a green thumb to his Mom in the summer. Roland looked forward to riding his snowmobile with his brother and best friend Paul. They had many trips together enjoying each other's time and passion for snowmobiling. Roland loved the freedom and independence his motorcycle provided him in the summer. When he was not riding he was tinkering with it in his white shed. Roland passes along his passion for sports and motor sports to his son Max. You would find Roland and Max riding the tractor or snow-mobile until the tank was empty. Roland proudly dressed his son in Les Canadiens apparel to show his support and set his son's loyalty. Roland will be lovingly remembered by his wife Larissa (nee Shistowski); their three year old son Maxwell; his parents, Roger and Jeanine; his siblings: Michelle (Bob), Paul (Kim), and Monique (Paul); mother-in-law Cindy; father-in-law Tony; brother-in-law Brent, Baba and Grandma. Roland will also be fondly remembered by his numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A private funeral service in memory of Roland was held on Tuesday, May 10, 2011. Flowers are gratefully declined. In lieu, those who so desire may make donations in memory of Roland to the trust fund that has been established to provide for his three year old son, Max. Donations can be sent to: Max Lemoine, In Trust , La Salle Credit Union, Box 66, La Salle, MB R0G 1B0, phone: 736-4341, or through any credit union. To my darling Roland, You were loved so much, My precious husband, May you be free of pain and Know that you will be missed so very much. Thank you for giving me Our beautiful son, Maxwell. My name is Tim. Rolly was my best friend in the whole world. We drove our motorcycles from sun up to sun down. I will miss you for the rest of my life. Only once you said to me that we were best friends in 20 years. I know that it was very hard to show your true feelings .I realy miss going for breakfast or lunch before our rides. I hope when I pass I will see you again. See you soon - Posted by: Tim Theberge (My best friend) on: Dec 29, 2011
