ANNE BARNLUND Anne Barnlund, 86 years, beloved wife of the late Russell, mother of Gail Amos, Richard and Douglas Barnlund, died in the Souris Health Centre on Tuesday, May 10, 2011. Funeral service will be held at the Willowlake Baptist Church, 45 Willowlake Crescent, Winnipeg, Manitoba on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 11:00 a.m., interment at a later date in the Alexander Cemetery for family and friends. Kowalchuk's Funeral Home, Souris in care of arrangements. Expression of sympathy may be made at dkowalchuk@mts.net.

To Gail, Doug, Rick and families it was a pleasure to have known and shared so many good times with your Mom. we always had wonderful talks on the phone and lovely visits. She and Joe used to get along so well even when they gave each other a hard time. I will miss talking to her but know she is where she wanted to be for so long, be glad for her as I am.
