THERESE DEMONTIGNY (nee BELISLE) The family is saddened to announce the passing of Thérèse Demontigny at the Taché Centre on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at the age of 85 years. She was predeceased by her first husband Roméo Larocque; her second husband Paul; her two sons, Denis and Maurice; her beautiful granddaughter Dianne Garand, as well as numerous brothers and sisters. Thérèse will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Simone (Ed) and Julie; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; her sister Sr. Germaine Vandale, as well as many family and friends. She loved music, dancing, playing cards and spending time with her family. Thérèse was always there if you needed her and she spent many hours taking care of others. The family would like to thank the 4ABC staff at the Taché Centre for the care given to Mom. A special thanks also to Annette (times two) for their support. The funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 18 at the Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 778 Archibald Street. Interment to follow at the Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. The pallbearers will be Don Belisle, René Belisle, Randy Garand, Frank Bloch, David Salichuk and Raymond St-Onge. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Thérèse's memory to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10-120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 9Z9.
