EVELYN ANDERSON Suddenly, on Monday, May 9, 2011, Evelyn Anderson lost her short but courageous battle to cancer. Evelyn will be lovingly remembered by her three boys: Shane (Cathy), Mike, Mark; grandchildren: Jade, Samantha, Michelle, Shawn, and Joey, Brittany, Chad, Alex, Tessa, Summer, Stormy, Jacob; her brothers, Bob (Brenda), Bill, Pat (Loretta) and numerous nieces, nephews, and her two cats, Sammy and Muffin. Evelyn was a blessed woman with too many accomplishments to list. The most important quality that she had was her caring nature and beliefs. Her clients were more like friends. She worked for the government and shifted gears where she became a licensed massage therapist and hypnotist. She also was just about to be an accredited addictions counselor. She looked at life as so much more to accomplish. She was a spirited lady. In accordance with Evelyn's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens with a gathering for family and friends at the Glen Lawn Reception Centre. Evelyn's boys wish to thank both Lois and Kim for their loving care and support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Evelyn to the CancerCare Foundation of Manitoba.
