Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLUDWIG KROCHENSKI Peacefully, on Saturday, May 7, 2011, Ludwig Krochenski, aged 82 years, passed away at the Selkirk General Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife Sophie, of 51 years; children Terry and Deborah; grandchildren Kyle and Carly; brother Leon (Ann) of Winnipeg; sisters Millie (Stanley) Wasylowski of Fraserwood, Jean (Walter) Kohut of Winnipeg; numerous nieces and nephews. Ludwig was predeceased by his parents Frank and Barbara; sister Rose Kushnir, and brothers Ben and Mike. Ludwig was born on April 17, 1929 in Fraserwood, MB. He married Sophie in 1959 and they resided in Winnipeg, MB, they then moved to St. Andrews and lived there for 37 years, spending his final days at the Selkirk Betel Home. He worked at the Winnipeg Legislative Building until his retirement. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 20, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, MB, with Pastor Stan Richards officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Selkirk Betel Home Foundation, 212 Manchester Ave., Selkirk, MB R1A 0B6.
