Born in 1923, Lucille received her education at St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute in St. Boniface. During the war, she worked at MacDonald's Aircraft Factory. Later, her business education led her to Mercury Publishers where, for many years, she enjoyed her work immensely. Lucille and John enjoyed many summers of camping, boating and fishing in the Whiteshell as well as travelling across Canada. After retirement, their favourite destination was Hawaii. Lucille was a dedicated member of the Catholic Women's League, King Edward Church Branch. Over the years she donated faithfully to many charities. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 18, at St. Bernadette Parish, 820 Cottonwood Road. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lucille's memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
