WILLIAM JOHN (BILL) WILDE It is with profound sadness that the family of William John Wilde announces his sudden passing on May 13, 2011 at the age of 58. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife and soulmate, Edith Mary; sons, William Alexander and James Darren; mother-in-law Maria Kliewer; sister and brother-in-law, Angie and Sig Banmann; niece Kristin Medved (Valentino); nephew Jeff Banmann (Mandy), their families; his Aunt Irene and Barry Wilson; cousin Pat and Dennis Dunlop and family, and many dear friends, all of whom loved him deeply. Bill was predeceased by his parents, Doreen and John Jack Wilde. Bill found joy in building beautiful furniture, carving with Les gens du bois on Monday nights, photography, travelling, going to the lake, watching sunsets and spending time with his family. He was a devoted husband and father, and friend. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at 4:30 p.m. at Douglas Mennonite Church, 1517 Rothesay Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bill's memory to Health Sciences Centre Foundation Mental Health Patient Comfort Fund, 820 Sherbrook St., Room MS107, Winnipeg, MB R3A 1R9 or a charity of your choice. The family would like to sincerely thank all of the friends, relatives and neighbours for their loving care and heartfelt support.

We just heard and we are deeply sorry for your loss. I grew up knowing Bill as my cousin and his parents as aunt and uncle.
