Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBEVERLEY ROEBUCK (nee SLATTERY) With broken hearts the Roebuck and Watts Families announce the passing of their beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Bev passed away peacefully in her sleep Friday, January 7, 2011 after a long fight with heart and kidney failure. Bev was a courageous and giving woman. She had strong opinions and was a great advocate for her family. Bev often tried to be the glue that held everyone together. She was witty and had a great sense of humour. Despite popular belief, Bev was a very loving and caring soul. Her husband, children, grandchildren and close friends knew and felt her love. She was the sun that shined for us, the stars that dazzled us and the moon we gravitated to. Many times she was our voice of reason, our shoulder to cry on and our shelter in a storm. This is a monumental loss for all she loved and that loved her. Beverley Eileen was born on June 13, 1953 to Russell and Eileen Slattery. She was predeceased by her son Harley, her father Russell, mother Eileen and brother-in-law Daniel Sargent. Bev is survived by her husband Michael, daughter Megan Watts (Chris), son Joseph Roebuck (Jen), daughter Robin Roebuck, son Liam Roebuck and daughter Stephanie Roebuck. Gramma will be missed by her knight in shining armor Sean, her darling her dove Katelyn, her little leprechaun Ethan and her most recent grandchild Jayden. She also leaves behind her brother Donald Slattery (Dolores), sister Debbie Sargent and brother Michael Brooks (Cheryl). A memorial service will be held at Red River Community Center at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 20, 2011.
