CHRIS NEUSTAEDTER May 17, 1971 - February 12, 2006 For Chris on his 40th Birthday: You would have been forty today, But God chose to take you away. We remember the years, With smiles and with tears. You would have been forty today. You'd be proud how your children are growing. And they do so without ever knowing The guidance a father could give, As he shows them how to live. You would have been forty today. In them we see glimpses of you, In things that they say or they do. It reminds us each day, And keeps you close in some way. You would have been forty today. Your brothers have changes in life, Each has a first home and a wife. Your sweet baby niece, Make these changes complete. You would have been forty today. As a family we move forward through life, Aware that we're missing a part. That part is you, and nothing will do, To fill up the hole in our hearts. Death is a sorrow that no one can heal, Love is a memory that no one can steal. You would have been forty today. Loving and missing you every day, Dad and Mom, Jason, Anna and Olivia, Eric and Roxy, Luke and Violet.
