CORNELIUS FRIESEN 1932 - 2011 On Sunday May 15, 2011 at Boundary Trails Health Centre, Cornelius Friesen, aged 78 years of Winkler, MB and formerly of Winnipeg went to his eternal rest. He leaves to mourn his passing his three daughters, Ruth and Randy Reimer of Winkler, Sarah and Randy Bartel of Winnipeg and Helen and Richard Kinsman of Morden; six grandchildren as well as three sisters and four brothers. He was predeceased by his wife, Katie Friesen (nee Braun) in 1988 and three brothers. Viewing will be on Wednesday (today) from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Wiebe Funeral Home 121 8th St. in Winkler and at the church prior to the service. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Winkler Bergthaler Mennonite Church, 252 6th St. with interment at Winkler Cemetery.
