JEANNE F. OULION August 11, 1928 - May 15, 2011 After a brief struggle with cancer mom passed away with dignity at the St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care Unit on May 15, 2011. She was predeceased by her husband Bill in 2003. Jeanne is survived by her five children, Ronald (Cathy) of Winnipeg, Patricia of Kelowna, Allan (Gerry) of Edmonton, Roxanne (Bill) of Winnipeg and Kathleen (Dave) of Winnipeg. Grandma is also survived by her ten grandchildren, Loni, Jesse, Ashley, Dayna, Amanda, Dylan, Brendan, Courtney, Jessica and Sarah. She also had four great-grandchildren, Reece, Jaxson, Grayson and Hayden. We would like to thank our Aunty Claire, mom's closest sister and friend, for her help during these last difficult months. We would also like to thank the St. Boniface Palliative Care nurses for their care and compassion in ensuring our mom had a peaceful journey. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 19, 2011 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (South of the Royal Canadian Mint). A gathering of family and friends will also be held in the reception centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Foundation.
