BARBARA SHAVE (nee MARTENS) It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Barbara Shave on Monday, May 16, 2011. Barbara was born June 18, 1946, in Winnipeg. She loved the outdoors, particularly her time spent living in Northern Manitoba. She was extremely dedicated to her family and lived by her motto family is number one . Her faith was always an important part of her life. She is predeceased in death by her brother Fred and parents Peter and Anna. She is survived by her three sons and their families: David and Bobbie-Joe, their children: Cabe, Darian, Seth, Addison, Kess; Keith and Tammy, their children Alexander and Reid; Rodney and Lauraine, their children Jillian and Brandon. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba, CE 501, 840 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1S1. Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 20 at 11:00 a.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St. The Coutu family in care of arrangements: E. J. COUTU CO.
