BEATRICE RUTH WAKEMAN (nee BACON) January 25, 1941 - May 16, 2011 Our family sadly announces the peaceful passing of Bea Wakeman, our beloved wife, mother, aunt, sister, friend, in the Pinawa Hospital at the age of 70. Bea was predeceased by her parents, Ruth and Roy Bacon. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Robert and children, Julia Wakeman (Rob), Murray Wakeman (Carol), Linda Wakeman-Luce (Mark). Brother Brian Bacon (Irene), sister Jane Born, brother John Bacon (Linda), as well as many nieces and nephews. Bea was born in Winnipeg and grew up in the St. Vital area. After marrying, she and her husband travelled and worked throughout the world for many years. They decided to retire close to home in Pinawa, Manitoba and spend the summers at their Grand Beach cottage. Bea's love of life and adventure never held her back from living life to the fullest. She will be missed by family, old and new friends. Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be sent to the charity of your choice.
