GINA MARIE SWANSON April 18, 1978 - May 14, 2011 In her loving home, Gina was sadly and unwillingly, taken away from this earth at a very young age. Gina will be remembered, loved and sadly missed by her Mother and Father, Marie and Dennis Swanson; her older sister Kirstin Swanson; her grandmother Hilda Swanson; her uncle and aunt, Ken and Gayle Paige; her cousin Allison Moore (Allan and Brooke); her beautiful Daughter Teah (seven years); Teah's father Cesar Aragon; Cesar's brother Hugo (Brenda and Veronica); Cesar's mother Rafaela (Archie) and her loving pet cat Flower. Gina was born April 18, 1978 at the Grace Hospital in Winnipeg, MB. She graduated High School from Vincent Massey Collegiate in 1996. She Worked at the Manitoba Liquor Commission from 1998 until her passing. She was highly respected from The Liquor Commission's Head office and the surrounding stores of Winnipeg. On April 21, 2004, Gina gave birth to her pride and joy, Teah Marie Aragon. Gina couldn't have been more proud to have such a bright gorgeous little girl, who was definitely a reflection of herself. Gina had such an amazing group of friends. She was the glue that held her group together. They forever will have that bond. Gina would always be found hosting a party and making sure everyone was well fed and having a great time. Red Wine and Moosehead were two of her favourite social mixers. Her G-Unit music and G-Unit sayings will always be remembered. Gina's funny random phone calls and text messages are going to be greatly missed by her sister and her close friends. Gina had a heart of gold, especially when it came to animals. She grew up with many dogs, cats and hamsters. She wanted to save any injured bird or bunny that came into her family's yard. Our hearts will ache forever. Gina, you will always be missed. A memorial service will be held at Celebrations, Canad Inns, on Pembina Hwy. at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 24. Family asks everyone not to wear black as Gina was an uplifting bright soul. In lieu of flowers, the family will be accepting donations at Royal Bank of Canada in Trust for Gina Swanson, for Teah Aragon's future. A private interment will be taking place on Wednesday, May 25.

Marie n Denis , when our sons became very ill ,my heart was hurting so bad ,but the loss of a child and how she was removed from you ,is more than a parent can even comprehend.   • When Gina was taken too early from this world, it had been two years since I had last seen her. Her daughter and my son were inseparable during their two years of preschool, and we would joke about how one day we'd be related when T and R got married. I got to know Marie while waiting for preschool drop offs and pickups, and my heart still aches, three years later, as May 14 comes around. Marie, I am so, so sorry. Your heart must be shattered.
