Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEUGENE DESJARLAIS On Wednesday, May 18, 2011 Eugene Desjarlais aged 92 years of St. Laurent, MB passed away at E.M. Crowe Memorial Hospital, Eriksdale. Survived by six boys and two daughters: Frank (Zelma) of Winnipeg, Wayne (Shirley) of Winnipeg, Paulette Bricklin of Warren, Lloyd (Eileen) of Winnipeg, Gerald (Karmel) of Winnipeg, Walter (Christine) of Fort Alexander, Maureen Dreger of Winnipeg, Nick (Hazel) of Winnipeg; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law Bernice. Survived also by sister Rose Boudreau and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife Margaret in 1979; parents Joseph and Marie; son Ron; grandsons J.J., Gordon and Kirk; son-in-law Jim; five brothers and one sister. Dad lived in the St. Laurent area most of his life. He served in the Second World War overseas. After the war when he came to St. Laurent, he married Margaret Lavallee and raised their family. He liked fishing, hunting and most of all being outdoors and playing cards. Prayers will be said at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 25 followed by funeral service at 11:00 a.m. all at the St. Laurent Roman Catholic Church. Interment will take place in the Parish Cemetery. Many thanks to all the staff at E.M. Crowe Hospital in Eriksdale, and also to Olga Desjarlais, Benny Desjarlais and Agathe Chartrand for being there for Dad and helping out.
