JOSEPH THEODORE MAREK Joseph Theodore Marek of Beausejour, Manitoba passed away peacefully on May 16th 2011. Joe now joins his loving wife Wilma (Bialek) and left to mourn are children Karen (Mark) Johnson, Donna (Dave) Oike, Joseph (Brenda) Marek, Christopher (Albert) Marek, Christine (Gord) Hemminger, Sandra (Rob) Kostelniuk, Linda (Paul) Marek-Koski and Robert (Andre) Marek, grandchildren Lisa (Mark) Leochko, Amber (Doug) Vincent, Joseph (Krystal) Marek, and Amy (Gord) Chrysler, great grandchildren Ella, Petra, Taryn, Cole, Jacob and James. Joe will also be missed by his brothers and sisters and their families. Joe was predeceased by an infant son George, parents Rose (Bukoski) and George Marek, sisters Katie and Emily and brother Mike. Joe was born and raised in the RM of Brokenhead and married Wilma on April 22, 1950. Joe loved the outdoors and spent many years farming, camping and picking rocks!! He spent his last years in East Gate Lodge and the family would like to sincerely thank all his care givers for their wonderful care and support. A private family service and interment has taken place. Flowers are gratefully declined, donations can be made to East Gate Lodge - Recreational Fund, Beausejour, Manitoba. A special thank you to David and Donna Oike for their care and compassion for dad. Much love to our Father's siblings who always looked out for Dad and visited him when we could not be there.
