Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY COLLINS (GARBOLINSKI) 1910 2011 Peacefully on May 17, 2011, centenarian Mary Collins passed surrounded by her loving family. Mary is survived by her son Roger Collins (Florence), daughter Joanne McGillivray, grandchildren Rick McGillivray (Kerry), Carla Smith, Mark Collins (Shelley), Tamara Klein (Cameron), Michael Collins, John Collins (Terri), Greg McGillivray (Kara), great-grandchildren Natalie and Hunter Smith, Michelle Kilby (Steve), Carly and Kayla Collins, Jason T. Collins, Tyler and Nicholas McGillivray, great- great-grandchildren Melany Lonetto and Mira Kilby. Mary was predeceased by her loving husband of 66 years, Frederick Collins, brothers Walter, Michael, Joseph, sisters Anne, Pauline and Lena, grandson Jason S. Collins, and son-in-law Bill McGillivray. Her life was a celebration of wisdom, courage and grace. Mary celebrated her 100th birthday party with family on July 3, 2010. She was an active member of St. Joseph's Ukrainian Catholic Church and volunteered with CUAC and the Holy Family Nursing Home. She worked at the Board of Grain Commissioners. Mary loved spending time with family, travelling and cooking. The family extends a special thank you to the Serenity Cove Nursing staff at River East Personal Care Home for their outstanding care and compassion. A private family interment was held. Mary will be dearly missed by her family and friends. May she rest in peace. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the charity of your choice. Mary... I am so Grateful to have met you! I know I promised to look after your HOME for you after I bugged you to sell it to me for a whole year until you agreed to! I have kept my Promise to you and you would be PROUD of it the way I have maintained it! I know you are looking down from HEAVEN and saying well done!!!
