WINIFRED JOYCE HEHN It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Winifred Joyce Hehn (nee Earl), age 91, born March 28, 1920, peacefully on May 14, 2011 at the Riverview Health Centre. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt, Winnie was born in Oxford, England and came to Winnipeg as a baby. One of nine children, she is survived by her daughter Leslie (Ron) Masseau, son Warren (Kathy), grandsons Ryan Hehn and Kevin (Julia) Hehn, great-grandchildren Fotina and Adeline Hehn, brothers Dick and Bill Earl, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Cecile and Percival Earl, husband Charles (Bud), and six of her siblings. Winnie worked several years on the 5th Floor of Eatons downtown. She loved travelling with her husband Bud in their Boler trailer. Together they enjoyed living much of their life in Fort Garry and league bowled many years at the Fort Garry Lanes. Winnie was also very involved with activities at the Westridge Community Club and served as a volunteer at the Red Cross mobile blood bank for many years. Thanks to the staff at the Riverview Health Centre, Unit D2 for their care and kindness. A private memorial ceremony and celebration of her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to the C.N.I.B.
