GEORGINA MAY MCLACHLAN Georgina May McLachlan (nee Ballan) passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the age of 89. Born in London, England, Georgina spent much of her childhood living wherever her father was posted in service to the British Army Medical Corps. The Second World War brought a job supporting the war effort shortly followed by marriage and four children. She came to Canada in 1971. At her request, Georgina's body has been donated to the University of Manitoba Medical School and there will be no Memorial Service. Many thanks to all her supportive friends at Bethania House, especially Adena Wall, and also for the professional, loving care she received at the Concordia Hospital.
