MARCELLO PETRICIG Suddenly on May 19, 2011, at the age of 56 years, Marcello Petricig passed away. Marcello was predeceased by his mother, Angelina. He is survived by his wife Judi; his sons, Andy and Josh; and his father Elio. He will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, as well and nieces and nephews. Marcello was employed with Canada Safeway since 1980 and worked at the Southdale Safeway at the full-serve meat counter. Marcello loved spending time with his family, especially his sons. He loved the outdoors, his birds and any other backyard visitors. Marcello was a patient man who was always smiling and he was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He spoke highly of the people he worked with and enjoyed helping his customers at Safeway. A celebration of Marcello's life will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. at 2:00 p.m. Our hearts are broken into a million pieces.
