ABRAM (ABE) D. THIESSEN It is with sadness that we announce Abe's peaceful passing, with his family by his side, on May 22, 2011 at Poseidon Care Home at the age of 84 years and 11 months. Abe will be sadly missed by his children Rose (Harry) Bloodworth, Jean (Bill) McLeod, and Grant (Nina); his nine grandchildren; sister Helen (Bill) Kroeker; brother Henry, as well as his many nieces and nephews. Abe was a proud member of the Deaf Community. The family would like to thank the 2nd floor staff of Poseidon Personal Care Home for embracing Abe into your family and for your care. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Klassen Funeral Home. A private family interment will take place at a later date. Honorary pallbearers are his loving grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Deaf Camp, c/o Winnipeg Church of the Deaf, 285 Pembina Hwy., Winnipeg, MB R3L 2E1.
