Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDORIS MARIE TRELEAVEN (CARNDUFF) October 3, 1928 - May 21, 2011 With family by her side, our mother Doris passed away at the Grace General Hospital. Mom was predeceased by her husband Roy; parents, William and Stella Carnduff; and her sisters, Audrey and Betty. Left to cherish her memory are her son Gary and wife Shona; and daughter Joanne and husband John. Her loss will also be felt by her brothers, Ross and Russell Carnduff. The great joy of Mom's life was spending time with her family, whether it was a special occasion or just a backyard barbeque. Doris was especially proud of her four grandchildren and she was thrilled to welcome her two great-grandchildren into her family. Nanny will be sadly missed by Christie and Adam Brisson, Shane, Tara and William Treleaven, and Wes, Colleen and Asher Treleaven. From soccer and hockey games to band recitals, Christmas concerts and graduations, Nanny was always there to support and cheer the grandchildren on. The last few years of her life were difficult ones for Doris with many health challenges but she handled them all with humour, dignity and grace. Our family would like to thank the medical staff at Grace Hospital and the Home Care provided, for their care, kindness and compassion. A special thank-you to Ruby, whose friendship meant so much to Mom this past year. So sorry to read of Mrs Treleaven's passing. I hadn't seen her since I was a girl. I had written her a letter, but it had been returned as she had just moved into a seniors home.
