MIKE KRYWCHUK On Friday, May 20, 2011, Mike Krywchuk, formerly of Argyle, MB passed away at Stonewall Hospital. Mike is survived by loving wife Helen, married for 54 years, his son Tim, grandchildren Richelle and Alex and ever loving and caring daughter-in-law Carolyn Morrison. Mike was predeceased by his parents Alex and Pauline, sister Lydia (Emil) Grandmont and brother Doc Krywchuk. In his early years Mike assumed the mortgage on the family farm in the Argyle area. He built a large hog barn and farmed the quarter section. It was at this location that, after his chosen son's arrival, Timmy's Farm was created. They won Provincial awards three years in a row for the beautifully flowered yard site. They also raised numerous pheasants, ducks and geese, deer and various other wildlife. Mike also started a career with water resources around this time. After his retirement, his hobby of growing flowers and vegetables kept him and Helen busy, turning into a greenhouse operation market garden at their Argyle location followed by a five acre market garden once they made their move to Stonewall. Up until his 75th year, Mike kept himself very busy in his lovely garden. Mike will always be remembered for his kind and giving heart. He will be missed by all who knew him.
