Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHAZEL WARD (nee WHITMAN) (SMITH) May 5, 1925 - May 27, 2011 Peacefully on May 27, 2011, Hazel Elinor Ward, of Winnipeg, passed away. Hazel leaves to mourn her husband Frank Ward; brother Jim Whitman; sister Francis Thiessen; daughter Suzann Schaefer, grandchildren Michael, Curtis and Lindsay; son Sidney Smith, daughter-in-law Laurie Smith and grandchildren, Logan, Kyra and Megan. She was predeceased by husband Digby Smith; sister Grace, and brothers Frank and Burn. Hazel was a longtime member of Rebekahs and Oddfellows. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, May 31 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler at Henderson Hwy.
