JOHN FRANKLIN EINARSSON August 18, 1940 - May 15, 2011 (Formerly of Winnipeg and Saskatoon) Johnny leaves four children, son Bradley (son Dylan, granddaughter Ava), daughter Mona Birdsell (sons Ryan and Richard), twin daughters Tobi Rempel (children Ben, Mia Zach) and Trudy Einarsson (husband David Williams, sons George and Felix). Johnny's sister Sandra (Gord) Thomasson, special nephews, Jason (Robyn) Gray and Derrick (Jen) Gray. Memorial service was held May 21 in North Battleford, SK with Johnny's closest friend Pastor Ron Braun officiating. Johnny's early years were difficult ones, but he finished his life beautifully. Through his deep faith in Jesus Christ and his commitment to the 12 steps of AA, he found peace. In North Battleford he was part of a community he loved and who loved and embraced him. He cherished his fellowship with the congregation of Community Baptist Church. Johnny's children are so grateful to Pastor Ron and wife Maryann for their love and care of our Dad. It is a testament to Johnny's changed life and the power of forgiveness that both Bella Einarsson (Mona's mother) and Edie Einarsson (Brad, Tobi, Trudy's mother) attended Johnny's Memorial service. Thanks to Aunt Sandra and Dad's favourite cousin, Vi Bjarnason Hilton, for their heartfelt eulogies. Thanks also to the amazing I.C.U. and Palliative Care Teams at Battleford Union Hospital. • Well I am 35 today Uncle John, and how how the time has gone by, but hasn't moved at all. I think of you everyday, everyday not a day goes by. I wish you were here so badly, especially when I had hard times losing my Dad and you always spent hours on the phone with me making me feel better. God how I would wish for those calls back. Telling me on your last day that I just had to be strong and to look after my Wife because you always said she was special, my Dad said the same thing as well. I pray everyday for your guidance Uncle John, I love You and miss you tremendously. Derrick, Jennifer, Ashleigh - Posted by: Derrick, Jennifer, Ashleigh (Nephew, Niece, Great Uncle) on: Jan 26, 2015
