KARL RITCHOT It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Karl Ritchot, on the morning of Tuesday, May 24, 2011 surrounded by his loving family. Dad is survived by his loving wife Emily (who were one week shy of their 53rd wedding anniversary), his children Norman (Ann), Gary (Berni), Debbie (Bob), Audrey, Kim (Lee) and Keith (Ann-Marie), 24 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren (and one due in October). He leaves behind his two sisters Lil and Pat, brother Robert and numerous extended family. He was predeceased by his parents and two sisters. Dad was a hard worker and his family's welfare came first and foremost. He was a man of few words but his actions spoke loud and clear. Keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. The family wishes to thank Dr. VanGend and the nursing staff at Pinawa Hospital for their care and compassion during dad's illness. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dad's memory to Cancer Care, Pinawa Hospital. I lost my best friend, but somebody needed you more. I will miss you. With love, Emily Dad, we will all miss you See you on the other side.
