CINDY SCHULTZ It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Cindy Schultz, on Thursday, May 26, 2011. Peacefully, with her family by her side, her courageous battle with cancer ended at the Lakeshore General Hospital in Ashern, MB. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Cindy was born in Eriksdale and lived in Camper. She attended Edison School and then continued her education at Ashern High School until she graduated. Cindy spent her life caring for her Mom and Dad and worked house cleaning for many area residents over the years. Cindy met Joe Chartrand 35 years ago when her sister Marlene introduced her to him one summer. Cindy and Joe were engaged and spent many happy years together. She had a great love for children and enjoyed babysitting children over the years. She spent many hours making these children the center of her world and she was loved for that. Cindy and Joe loved to dance and listen to old time country music and would travel with Joe's truck to various events. She is survived by her long time companion Joe Chartrand, of 35 years; her mother Eileen; sister Marlene Mairet; brother Brian (Adele); sister Linda; sister Donna (Neil); brother David (Tanya) and many nieces and nephews. Cindy is predeceased by her dad Louis Schultz and her brother-in-law Robert Mairet. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 30, 2011 at the Camper Community Hall with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. Viewing to be held one hour prior to the service at the hall. Interment to follow in the Camper Cemetery. Arrangements by: ARNASON FUNERAL HOME Ashern - Lundar 1-204-768-2072 1-866-323-3593
