NICK DESTEFANO It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Nick DeStefano, on Friday, May 27, 2011 at 41 years of age. Nick leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Grace, and daughter Gina; father Joe, mother Gina; brothers Donny (Marla, Adriana, Atoria) and Rocco; sisters-in-law Gena (Aubrey, Marina), Lou-Anne (Joshua, Gino, Hillary, Henry). He will also be deeply missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Nick was a devoted husband and an amazing father who cherished his family dearly. He had endless love for his daughter Gina which will never be forgotten. Nick will also be sadly missed by his co-workers (second family) and clients from Sal's Unisex; Nick was one of a kind who touched people's hearts and will be missed greatly by all those around him. He was a kind, calm and compassionate person and this is what made him a successful hairstylist, who made each and every one of his many clients feel special and beautiful with his meticulous hairstyles. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at 7:30 p.m., Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Avenue. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 1 at 10:00 a.m., Holy Rosary Church. Pallbearers: Manny DeSousa, Sal Russo, Gio Cisternino, Nick Pagano, Tony Alluotto and Mike DeStefano. The family would like to thank the W.R.H.A. Palliative Care Team and the St. Boniface Palliative Care Unit. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare in Nick's Memory.
