Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKATHLEEN JEAN FONSECA (nee GREENAWAY) October 4, 1931 - May 26, 2011 Survived by children Kevin Fonseca and Joanne Howe (Darrell), grandchildren Amanda, Gary, Joscelyne, Julie-Ann and Darren, as well as five great-grandchildren. Also survived by siblings Grant, James and Donald. Kay was predeceased by parents, Ena and Victor Greenaway, and brothers William and Robert. Growing up in the St. Vital area of Winnipeg, she graduated from a Commercial Course at Glenlawn, going on to work for law firm Tupper and Adams. She married Arthur Gomez Fonseca and had two children. After retiring, Kay moved to Victoria, BC to be close to family. Kay was an avid bowler, enjoyed watching hockey, and spent her retired years creating beautiful crocheted blankets for her children. Kay also loved baking cookies for her family and friends. A service will be held for Kay at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31 at Sands Funeral Chapel, located at 317 Goldstream Avenue in Colwood. To send condolences please visit www.sandsfuneral.com (Colwood)
