It has been nearly a decade since my Grandma passed away when I was 7 years old. I never understood how little time I had left with her not knowing until this year what cancer she had and that she has had that cancer since I was 2. I was definitely a thorn in her side. Whenever she came to babysit us and we had to clean I would shove all of my toys into the corner and say “This is how mom tells us to do it!” which was a complete lie. I remember they took us shopping and I got a lightsaber but wanted to return it because it “made too much noise”. I assume she knew how much time she had left because she definitely made the most of it. When we used to visit her and my Grandpa for Christmas I remember this one time she came out of her room in the morning without her dentures and said that the tooth fairy took all of her teeth. I regret not spending more time with her rather then being the little brat I was. I love you Grandma and I hope you’re resting well! - Posted by: Donovan Tse (Grandson ) on: Mar 30, 2021
