VIVIAN TRAVERSE (THE VIV) December 17, 1957 - May 26, 2011 It is with profound sorrow that we announce the tragic loss of our beloved family member, Viv Traverse. She was a beautiful and vivacious wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, auntie, niece, cousin and friend. Obeying Viv's wishes, the wake and funeral services will be held as follows; Wake service will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Both services will take place at the Fairford House of Prayer, Pinaymootang First Nation with Rev. Donald Gould and Lester Sinclair officiating. Viv will be laid to rest at the St. Helen's Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Chief Gerald Anderson and the Little Saskatchewan First Nation for their support, also the Chief Council of Pinaymootang First Nation, the Fairford House of Prayer; RCMP members and first responders for their care and compassion; also all those who contributed with donations, and to community members and friends for all their support.
