SANDRA JEAN TAYLOR 1942 - 2011 It is with saddened hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our mother, grandmother and sister, Sandra Taylor on May 27, 2011 at her residence in Winnipeg. Sandra will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Angela; grandchildren, Michael and Breanne; her brothers, Arnold (Rosemary) and Eldwin, her many nieces and nephews; step-children, Grant, Deborah and Rita (Allan) and their children. She was predeceased by her beloved husband William (Bill) Taylor; parents, John (Jack) and Stella McAulay; and sister Valerie. Sandra was born September 20, 1942 in Crystal City, Manitoba. She moved to Winnipeg as a teen and she started her 30 plus year career with Winnipeg School Division in 1973 as a Library Technical Assistant. After retirement she kept herself busy on her computer and added pieces to her many collections. She enjoyed playing music on her bass especially with her Bluegrass band Gateway Express. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 3, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue with reception to follow.
