Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTELLA SHIPMAN (nee LAPLANTE) October 16, 1927 - May 27, 2011 Stella was predeceased by husband Donald Shipman; brothers, Richard and Maurice; and sisters, Blanche and Lilian. She is survived by her sister Violet Dufour from Saskatchewan; and brother Hector (Agnes) LaPlante from Ontario; daughters, Barbara (Fern) Bourcier and Beverley Juhasz (Louis deceased) from Toronto; grandchildren, Jason (Stephanie) Bourcier, Jennifer Bourcier, Jodi-Lynn (Jeff) Bourcier, Sherry (Rob) Eaton and Darryl Juhasz from Toronto; and great-grandchildren, Brooke and Bryce Eaton, Reid and Hannah Bourcier, and Jacob Bourcier. Due to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Interment will be in Toronto, Ontario at a later date. A special thank-you to the staff on Wing 3 East, Riverview Health Centre and Dr. Garcia, for their compassion and great care.
