LESLEY MACLEOD Lesley MacLeod beloved wife of Rod MacLeod of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2011 at the age of 62 years. Lesley was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB. She was the eldest of five children. In 1973 she met and married Rod. Thus began a journey which lasted 38 years. During these years they lived in Ottawa, Edmonton, and Calgary. In the busy life of mother to two active boys, Evan and Sean, she found her true niche in life as a loving mother, mentor, and most of all soulmate to Rod. Together they raised two sons of which she was extremely proud. Lesley had a big heart and a caring nature. She was always available and eager to help others. While her own life centered around her family she always managed to find time to help those in need. Lesley will be sadly missed by her family and many friends. Lesley is survived by her parents Fred and Merlyn Luce of Winnipeg, her husband Rod, her two sons Evan and Sean, her brothers Tom (Cindy), Fred, Mark (Linda) and sister Melissa (Rick). Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS HOLLOWAY'S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W., Calgary, AB) on Friday, June 3, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
