MARGARET SUITTERS Peacefully on May 30, 2011 Margaret Suitters passed away at Riverview Health Centre at the age of 93 years. She was predeceased by her husband Reverend Alexander (Sandy) Suitters and her daughter Anna Lane. She is lovingly remembered by her son Ian (Tanis); daughter Margaret (Paul); grand-children David, Tracy and Karan Lane; Josh, Dylan, and Jenesa Suitters; Lisa, Danny, and Michelle Wright, as well as numerous great- grandchildren. Margaret was born in Northern Ireland on September 2, 1917. She and Sandy were married on September 3, 1942, immigrated to Canada in 1949 where Sandy served in the Presbyterian Church and later in the United Church of Canada until his death in 1963. Throughout her active life Margaret enjoyed gardening, cycling and walking. In her final years at Riverview she participated in art classes, music therapy and many other activities with the help of staff. She will be remembered for her Irishisms , her humour, and her love of a really good cup of tea. The family would like to thank the staff at Riverview for the wonderful care Margaret received in her final years. Interment will take place in Regina on June 3, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. where she will be laid to rest beside Sandy. A Memorial Service to follow at a future date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Riverview Health Centre, 1 Morley, Winnipeg, MB, or a charity of choice.
