CHRISTINE HANZMANN July 8, 1939 - June 2, 2011 Surrounded by the love of her family, Christine, Omi to all who knew and loved her, found peace in her home at the age of 71, on June 2, 2011. Christine will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 54 years, Hubert; her children, Heidi, Irene (Mike) and Karl (Mona); and her grandchildren, Madison, Kylie, Codi, Ashleigh, Kiran and Lian. She dedicated her life to her family and gave her love freely to extended family and friends. Christine fought the most difficult battle of her life with utmost courage and dignity. Her faith in God remained steadfast and true. Christine placed her life In Gottes Handen, In God's Hands . God's hands reached out to her and welcomed her home. Our family would like to thank CancerCare Manitoba and Palliative Care for their care and compassion. Heartfelt thanks to family and friends who supported us in their own special way during this difficult time. A mass in celebration of Christine's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at Holy Redeemer Parish. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Christine to CancerCare Manitoba.
