Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGORDON RUDOLPH 1954 - 2011 With great sadness our family announces the peaceful passing of Gordon Rudolph at Riverview Health Centre on May 31, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. Gordon will be lovingly remembered by his parents Walter and Louise Rudolph, brother Doug (Carla) Rudolph and nephew Clifford of Las Vegas, Nevada; sister Lori (John) Crawford, niece Kayla and nephew Jordan. Gordon will also be missed deeply by many relatives and friends. Gordon had a life full of love and happiness. Over the years he enjoyed many activities like swimming, participating in the Special Olympics, and bowling every Saturday for many years. Gordon worked at Versatech for 35 years where he made many valuable friendships. Some of the most cherished memories of Gordon are from time spent as a family at the lake, on trips to Hawaii, and road trips down South. He especially enjoyed his trips to the casinos and winning on the slots. Gordon had a deep connection to his Scottish heritage and music; he especially enjoyed the bagpipes. Gordon was very knowledgeable about sports and the weather. We will miss his daily weather reports. Gordon had a heart of gold and was a kind and gentle soul. He spread joy and happiness to everyone. We love you Gordon. You are forever in our most cherished memories . The family would like to thank the compassionate staff in the Palliative Care Unit of Riverview Health Centre for making Gordon so comfortable and peaceful during his week long stay there. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Johnson for all the years of excellent care. Thank you to all that assisted with Gordon's journey. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends so desire, donations can be made to Riverview Health Centre or to a charity of one's choice. A private gathering will be held with immediate family.
