SHIRLEY ANN VERPLAETSE July 26, 1935 - June 4, 2001 Phone Number Unknown It's been 10 long years as I reach for the phone and start to dial, while your memory floods me all the while. A panic comes over me and I feel like crying, somewhere inside of me a part of me is dying. It's then that I realize that it is really true, you're gone, dear mother, and I can't talk to you. So deep in my thoughts your voice sounds so clear, I think if I phone you, it's your voice that I'll hear. It seems all a dream and if I could only wake up, we would talk on the phone, We would argue and make-up. I lost my best friend - your love meant so much, If only there were phones in Heaven, dear mother, we would keep in touch. Now I must learn when I reach for the phone, that you now live in Heaven - Phone number unknown. God will help me ease my pain, Till me and my mother meet again.
