RITA CHARRIERE (nee TOUGAS) It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Rita Charrière with her family by her side, at the Ste. Anne Hospital in Ste. Anne, MB on Friday, June 3, 2011 at the age of 85. Rita will be dearly missed by her children, Denise (Gérald), Roland (Diane) of Langley, BC, Gisèle (Jacques), Louis (Colleen), Robert (Patricia), Roger (Carrie). Grandchildren, Yvan and Lisa St. Vincent, Joanne and Darren Allaire, Carrie-Ann Berlan, Langley, BC, Lise and Robert Hansson, Sweden, Céleste, Guy and Ashley St. Vincent, Shreveport, LA, Kirsten and Philip Desorcy, Jesse, Paige Charrière, Janelle, Bryanne and Danica Charrière. Tyler, Quinn Charrière, Melissa, Shawn and Christina Charrière, Kristen and Keith Chucko; great-grandchildren, Karly and Haley, Cooper, Sydney, Tamarra, Miranda, Izabell, Dominik, Chase and Annick. She is survived by her sisters, Yvonne Lévesque, Elise Lambert. She was predeceased by her husband Jos and her son Denis and daughter Marie. Mom lived life to the fullest, spending lots of quality time with her family which was her pride and joy. Viewing followed by prayers will be held on Wednesday, June 8 at 8:00 p.m. at Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church in Ste. Anne, MB. Funeral services for Rita will be held on Tuesday, June 14 at Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church in Ste. Anne, MB. A celebration of Mom's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Father Chartier will celebrate the funeral mass at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Ste. Anne Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to do so, may make a donation in Rita's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200 - 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
