WILMER JOHN NEUFELD Peacefully with his family by his bedside, Wilmer passed away on June 4, 2011 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Wilmer was predeceased by his parents, Peter A. and Mary Neufeld. Wilmer is survived by his beloved wife Olive of 47 years; daughter Elaine Lanctot (Robert); grandchildren, Jessica, Tabatha and Nichole Lanctot; great-grandchildren, Kaydence and Kiera. Wilmer is also survived by his three sisters and four brothers, Eleanore (Al) Hamm, Marlene (Harold) Warkentin, Beverley (Fred) Dyck, Harvey (Carol) Neufeld, Ernie (Diane) Neufeld, Jake Neufeld, Robert Neufeld and many nieces, nephews and friends. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday June 9, 2011 at St. Timothy, 135 John Forsyth Rd. A special mention to the palliative care nurse Olga and staff at St. Boniface General Hospital. In lieu of flowers, friends may make a donation to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Rm ON 1160, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
