Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGERTRUDE GAUDRY Gertrude Gaudry (nee Poirier) of St. Adolphe, Manitoba, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2011. Gertrude was predeceased by her husband Ernest, grandson Joel, and siblings Bernard (Minerva), Aubert, Cecile, Azarie and Paul; brother-in-law Emile and sister-in-law Madeleine. She is survived by two brothers: Roland and Denis (Lucie); four sisters: Noella (Andre), Ghislaine (Herve), Estelle, and Bernadette (Joe); sisters-in-law Germaine and Marion; her children Lucien (Ellen), Henri (Rosann), Florent, Nicole (Sandor) and Rachel (Don); her grandchildren Lesley (Ian), Justin, Colin, Meghan, Jessica; and her great-grandchildren Kieran and Joss. Gertrude was born in Haywood, Manitoba on October 11, 1926 and married Ernest Gaudry on November 23, 1950. She was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking and playing cards. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to staff of the St. Adolphe Personal Care Home for the excellent care and compassion they provided. A celebration of Gertrude's life will be held at St. Denis Catholic Church in Haywood on Friday, June 10, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the St. Denis Catholic Church in Haywood or a charity of your choice.
