Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM (BILL) ANDREW HUNTER It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to William (Bill) Andrew Hunter in the early morning on June 6, 2011. Bill was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend to many. His desire was to go home. Well Dad, you are now home! He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Janet Hunter; sisters, Audrey Rodonets and Margaret Rymkus; two children, Karen Young and Fredrick Hunter; and two great-grand-children, Liam Tokarz and Kirsten Miller. Surviving are his wife Therese, children; Marcel (Coleen), Clair (Karl), Barry (Paulette), Leola (Eddie), Lisa, Karen, Margaret (Rick), Wendy (Ted), Mary (Randy), Timothy and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Bill was an artist, gardener, and loved music and nature. He also loved spending time with his family. He was involved with the Royal Canadian Legion as a member of the Colour Party and Honour Guard. There will be a Celebration of Bill's life, Monday, June 13, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Riverwood Church Community at 257 Riverton Avenue, Winnipeg, with luncheon to follow. Interment at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg. The family would like to thank the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital 5th floor Units 1, 2, and 3 for the outstanding care they provided to our father! An extra special thank you to Dr. Nolan Finlayson for his care, concern and honesty towards our Dad and family! In lieu of flowers, the family requests you join them in donating to The Firefighters Burn Fund. Arrangements by Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
