ANNE ROSS It is with great sadness we announce that Anne left the world peacefully to be in the loving arms of her Saviour Jesus on Wednesday, June 8, 2011. Anne was born and educated in Transcona. She was employed with the T. Eaton Co. for 35 years, retiring as supervisor of Food Service in the Grill Room. She was known for her specialty, Mulberry Pie. Her priorities have always been family, church, community and helping others. She was a long time member of St. Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Church, serving on the Parish Council. She was also a member of the U.C.W.L.C. of St. Josaphat's, Ukrainian National Federation, K.Y.K. and many other organizations, holding numerous executive positions. Through her involvement with these organizations, she made many lasting friendships. Her motto was, It is better to give than to receive. Anne was predeceased by her parents, Daria and Roman Cyncar; siblings, John, Jules and Minnie and her husband, Hubert Harper. She leaves to mourn and cherish her memory, her son Ron and wife Enda; grandsons, Ron Jr., Keith and Chris (Julie), as well as great-grandchildren, Christopher Jr. and Kirsten. Many thanks to Olga and Sandy Boychuk for their tremendous support and loving care over the years for Anne. The family also wishes to express their sincere gratitude to all her friends for all their prayers and support that brought her great comfort. Very special thanks to her caregivers at Holy Family Home. She had a strong faith in God's will. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 13 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. Interment will follow at Transcona Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation Manitoba, or a charity of one's choice. Those we love do not go away, They walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, Loved and missed and very dear. You will live in our hearts forever. The Family VICHNAYA PAMYAT KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL 956-2193
