JOE DICKIE March 7, 1963 - June 6, 2011 Joe, the youngest of five, unexpectedly passed away June 6, 2011. Joe is survived by his mother Anna Williams (Dickie); his sisters, Jocelyn Libbrecht (Calgary), Kathy Shorr (Winnipeg), Colleen Dickie (Winnipeg); and his brother Mike Dickie (Qualicum Beach, BC). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and nephews, especially Keegan, Makenna, Dale, Ryan and Madi. In addition, Joe leaves behind countless friends from both his military career and civilian life. Joe is predeceased by his father Bruce Dickie and his step-father Jack Williams. Joe's family expresses their thanks to Darach, Johnnie, Kirk and Laura and Randy for their support and guidance through this difficult time. Joe always said you were like family. Indeed you are. Thanks also goes to LCol Peter Dozois, Captain Al Haviland and Padre Gordon Shields. Your support will always be remembered. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Siloam Mission are appreciated.
