WILLIAM NORMAN (KNOBBY) CLARK Peacefully after a lengthy illness, it is with sadness that we ce the passing of William Norman Clark at St. Norbert Personal Care Home on June 9, 2011 at the age of 84. Norman is survived by his wife Olive and nephew Robert (Joyce). Norman was born on November 12, 1926 in London, England. When he was 17 and one half years old, he joined the Royal Artillery and served in Egypt, Palestine and Greece. In 1949 he met Olive Gibbons and they were married in 1952. In 1953 Norman and Olive immigrated to Canada, that same year Norman was employed by the Royal Bank in Winnipeg as a Bank Messenger and then he became chauffeur to the CEO's. Norman retired from the Royal Bank in 1984. He was well respected and well liked by all the staff at the bank. Olive appreciated the kindness shown by the staff to Norman during his stay at St. Norbert Personal Care Home. At Norman's request there will be no funeral.
