MARY SIATECKI (POWOROZNYK) Peacefully on June 7, 2011 at Deer Lodge Hospital Mary passed away. Left to cherish her memory are loving daughters Rose Deibert, Kathleen (Kay) (Murray) Simpson; grandchildren Darrell (Joan), Phillip (Wanda), Chris (Lisa); great-grandchildren Ally, Sydney, Eachoe, Sterling, and loving sister Rose Diakiw. Mary was predeceased by her husband Paul, son Norman, sister Anne Leschyshyn, brothers Bill, Mike, Alec, Nick, and son-in-law Richard. Mary was born 1918 in Fraserwood, MB where she met and married Paul in 1937 and then farmed in Snowflake before moving to Winnipeg in 1957. Mary was employed with several leading Winnipeg hotels as a baker for 28 years and continued this and other passions throughout her life. A service and celebration of life will be held on June 13, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., Winnipeg MB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Deer Lodge Centre Lodge #2, 2109 Portage Ave., Winnipeg MB where she received compassionate care during her short stay.
