BRIAN WALTER PAGE April 13, 1940 - June 6, 2011 It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved husband, father, granddad, brother, brother-in-law and uncle, following a brief battle of lung cancer. Brian passed away surrounded by his family at the Grace Hospital. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Ann; daughter Karen (Ken) Wyryha, grandchildren, Tiana and Braeden; son Kelvin (Marguerite) Page, grandchildren, Jordan and Matthew. He is also survived by his brother Roger (Louise) Page and family; and by his sister-in-law Linda Page and family, as well as family in England. He was predeceased by his mother and father, Florence and John (Jack) Page; and brother Colin Page. Brian was born in England April 13, 1940 and immigrated to Canada on December 2, 1974. Brian loved his family, and his grandchildren were of special importance to him. He was an avid nature lover, and enjoyed watching the birds with his binoculars. The family would like to thank the exceptional, caring staff at the Grace Hospital on 3 and 4 North, as well as the Palliative home care nurses. A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 13 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, with reception to follow.
