ROBERTINE DESMARAIS Peacefully at the age of 95, Robertine Desmarais, daughter of Rose-Anna Lafond and Victor Beaugrand-dit-Champagne, surrounded by her family, died at the Actionmarguerite Inc. formerly (Tâché Nursing Centre) on June 9, 2011. She was predeceased by her husband Alcide, her son Alain, her daughter Angèle, daughter-in-law Jeannette also her three sisters Elodie, Géralda and Gabrielle, and her brother Victor Champagne. She will be dearly remembered by her children Lucien (Elaine), Rita (Victorien), René (Linda), Monique, Huguette (René). Her son-in-law Denis Ross, and daughter-in-law Shirley Desmarais (Henry) also 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and many nephews and nieces will also mourn the loss of this great woman. She is also survived by her sister, Andrea (Jack) Wagner, her half-brother Fernand Manaigre and her sister-in-law Josephine Champagne. The family wants to extend their gratefulness to all those who took the time to visit our mother and the staff at the 3DE Actionmarguerite Inc. (formerly Tâché Nursing Centre) who took such great care of our mother with such compassion and dignity. Soyez en paix maman, vous serez toujours dans nos coeurs. We will remember you always and love you forever. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in our mother's memory to Centre Flavie-Laurent, 164 Marion Street, Winnipeg, MB R2H 0T4. Family and Friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Monday, June 13, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. in the Roman Catholic Church in Lorette, MB.
